CPI condemns attacks on other parties’ leaders by MIM

Telangana State council of Communist Party of India (CPI) has condemned the attack by Majlis (MIM) activists on Congress, TRS, CPI and BJP activists several division during the polling for GHMC elections on Tuesday.

State secretary of CPI Chada Venkat Reddy alleged that the MIM activists had resorting to violent methods with the fear of losing their existence.

The incident of MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi pushing aside Opposition Congress leader in Legislative Council Md. Ali Shabbir and the Majlis activists attack Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and damaging his vehicle had exposed the designs of MIM once again.

Explaining more such attacks by MIM activists, Mr. Venkat Reddy said they had attacked CPI leader and advocate Chandramohan for opposing rigging and impersonation and attacked on the house of Deputy Chief Minister Md. Mahamood Ali were all indicating the fear of MIM losing its ground.

By terrorising even the leaders of other political parties, the Majlis party had proved that it believed in violent methods to take on political rivals.

The CPI leader alleged that the MIM leaders and activists could dare to indulge in such attacks mainly due to soft corner towards the party by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
