Alliance Air introducing 70-seater flights from February 1

Alliance Air, a wholly owned subsidiary of Air India, is introducing flights from Hyderabad to Ahmedabad via Nashik and back, from February 1.

This flight will be operated under Regional Connectivity Scheme-UDAN. This route has been awarded to Alliance Air to bolster regional connectivity under “Connecting India” mission of Government of India.

Nashik is an ancient holy city in the northwest region of Maharashtra and is one of pilgrimage sites for Kumbh Mela which is held every 12 years. It is also known as the grape and wine capital of India. All flights will operate with a 70-seater ATR-72.

Alliance Air will operate daily flight operations between Hyderabad and Nashik. Onward operations to Ahmedabad would be on all days except Sunday.

Flight 9I 871 will depart from Hyderabad at 6.45 a.m, arrive in Nashik at 8.30 a.m. and leave Nashik at 8.55 a.m. to reach Ahmedabad at 10.50 a.m. Return flight 9I 872 will depart at 11.20 a.m. from Ahmedabad to reach Nashik at 12.35 p.m. and leave Nashik at 1 p.m. to land in Hyderabad at 2.50 p.m.

There are attractive inaugural fares between Hyderabad and Nashik starting at ₹1,900 plus taxes while Nashik to Ahmedabad will cost ₹1,400 plus taxes.
