A 55-year-old man, Naval Kishore Singh, working as a security guard for Nagole Engineering College at Kuntlur in Hayathnagar on city outskirts was murdered allegedly by his colleague the previous night, the police said on Friday.
His body was lying outside the security guard room near the college gate on Friday morning. Singh, hailing from Bihar, was working there along with one Bish Satya of Assam. Both used to work on rotation basis and live in the same room. “We suspect Satya of hitting Singh with an iron rod and killing him after they consumed liquor on Thursday night. The suspect is absconding and would be caught,” said Vanasthalipuram ACP V. Bhaskar.
