CM reviews Metro Rail work

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday held a detailed discussion with the Hyderabad Metro Rail authorities on the progress of the project and observed that all contentious alignment issues were solvable. Officials concerned were told to examine the alternate alignments at places such as Sultan Bazaar and Legislative Assembly through which the corridors one (L.B. Nagar to Miyapur) and corridor two (JBS to Falaknuma) pass by . The CM sought out details about the alignment taken up across the three routes, reasons for taking up the work under the PPP mode, elevated option chosen over underground and so on.

Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma, Principal Secretary (MA&UD) S.K. Joshi, and HMR MD N.V.S. Reddy were present.
