Chiranjeevi’s next in pre-production

Movie based on Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, a Rayalaseema freedom fighter

After Khaidi No. 150 , Chiranjeevi has given the nod for his 151st movie scripted by Burra Sai Madhav (of Gautamiputra Satakarni fame), Vema Reddy, who is also a historian of sorts, and Paruchuri brothers, the same four who had worked on mega star’s 150th movie.

Word is out in the Telugu tinseltown that it will be based on Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, a Rayalaseema freedom fighter, who bared his chest and dared the British, ahead of the first war of Independence, in 1857. It will have director Surender Reddy wielding the megaphone. This is the second product from Konidela Productions. If the name still doesn’t ring a bell, that’s the banner under which actor Konidela Sivasankara Varaprasada aka Chiranjeevi did his 150th film Khaidi No. 150 .

The scriptwriters have worked on different aspects of Narasimha Reddy for the new film. It will see the lead star with a makeover, romancing two heroines, which will mostly likely have Devisri Prasad’s music.

What is interesting is that film buffs will get to see Aishwarya Rai and her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan in the cast with Chiranjeevi. It will, in all likelihood, also have Rana Daggubati.

The hunt for the second heroine is said to be on and once that is firmed up, the big budget, multi-lingual (Telugu, Tamil and Hindi) film is likely to go on floors on August 22, the birthday of Chiranjeevi.
