The Common Admission Test (CAT-2013) will be conducted from October 16 to November 11 in 40 cities across the country including Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Vishakapatnam in the State.
There will be no change in the test format to be conducted by IIM-Indore. Rohit Kapoor, Professor at IIM-Indore will be the Convenor. The voucher sale will begin on August 5 and will end on September 24. Registration window will be open from August 5 to September 26. Results of this online test will be given on January 14, 2014. Prometric will deliver the test. Candidates can buy vouchers online directly from IIMs apart from purchasing traditional vouchers for registration and scheduling from designated Axis Bank branches. Details of the designated Axis bank branches will be available on www.cat2013.iimidr.ac.in. This year 30 more Axis bank branches have been added for students’ greater convenience, according to a media release from IIM-Indore. Prof. Rohit Kapoor said 3,335 seats are available in all the IIMs this year, an increase of 115 seats over last year. CAT 2013 will have two sections. The first section will focus on Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation and the second on Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning. The examination will be for 140 minutes.
