Independence is not mere political independence, says Chief Justice

Hyderabad High Court Chief Justice Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan.

Progress in social, economic and political spheres can be achieved only by ensuring justice in those fields, said Hyderabad High Court Chief Justice Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan.

He was addressing the gathering after hoisting the tri-color flag on the HC premises here on the Independence Day on Wednesday.

Only by assuring the dignity of the individual, the unity and integrity of the nation can be achieved. This will give courage to people to come forward and say that they would live up to the constitutional goals, he said.
