He added that since Godavari water was coming up to Patancheru, it could be extended to Sangareddy constituency as well.

Speaking to reporters here on Tuesday after submitting a memorandum to Collector and Joint Collector, Mr. Jayaprakash Reddy said the people of Sangareddy constituency were facing a serious water crisis and the government has failed to address the issue. Stating that no concrete plan has been made so far in this regard, he said this was an issue that needs to be addressed on a war-footing till Singur dam was filled. “There is enough time for political mud-slinging and we can do it at a later stage after addressing the water problem. Let us first try to address the problem together,” Mr. Jayaprakash Reddy appealed to the Chief Minister.
