Adoption of pets
Actor Anushka Shetty, describing herself as an ardent pet lover, said pets bring joy. “They should be treated as our children and not left tied in a corner,” she said.

Ms. Vadi said BCH has hundreds of puppies and dogs waiting to be adopted. “We want interested and committed families to come forward and take the pets and provide them a home,” she said.

“Unless we are convinced that the family is keen and treat the pet as a member of the home, adoption is not approved,” she observed.
