Members of the National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) on Friday observed that justice to Hajipur victims’ families should be served at the earliest.
Not only severe punishment to the guilty, but families of the three girls, who were allegedly raped, killed and buried in abandoned wells here, should be supported, said NCBC Vice-Chairperson Lokesh Kumar Prajapati.
The police and the revenue authority, who received the three officials, took them to the abandoned wells, the villages of Hajipur, and Mysireddyapalli and the area where the much-demanded bridge between Hajipur and Machanpalli is proposed.

“All assistance that can be given to the families from the Centre and roads under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana will be ensured," said members of the Commission Kaushalendra Singh and Talloju Achari.
Later, interacting with villagers at Hajipur, the members said the Commission would stand by the families till justice was met.
A house and a job each for the families would also be demanded, they said.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) K. Narayana Reddy, Bommalaramaram Tahsildar Padma Sundari and village sarpanch Tiumala Kavitha Venkatesh were present.
