The man behind hit films like ‘Simha’ and ‘Legend’, both starring actor-turned-MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna, is busy at work again, doing what he does best. Just the other day, director Boyapati Srinu’s next, untitled film produced by Bellamkonda Suresh was kicked off in a grand manner, with the producer’s son Srinivas in the lead.

In a highly-competitive industry, it is only at such functions that star filmmakers come together and it was a sight for all those film buffs, who managed to be there, to see directors V.V. Vinayak and Boyapati Srinu handling the camera together for the first shot. It was Vinayak who introduced Srinivas as a hero with ‘Alludu Sreenu’ that hit the screens on July 25 and now for the youngster’s second film, it is Boyapati Srinu who wields the megaphone.

What’s common for hero Srinivas’s first and second film is the energetic DSP, as music director Devisri Prasad is popularly known. For a man who makes the audience move and groove to his music – be it in live performances or through movies for which he has composed the music – he comes across as a pretty modest, shy person. Thanking the producer and director, he said he would give his best for the film, before signing off.
