ACB gets Purushotham Reddy’s custody

The ACB court on Thursday issued order allowing Anti-Corruption Bureau officials to take suspended HMDA Director K. Purushotham Reddy, who was arrested and lodged in prison, into their custody for further investigation. Mr. Reddy will be in the custody of the ACB authorities from Friday to Wednesday. Meanwhile, the ACB authorities seized gold jewellery and silver articles from B. Srinivas Reddy, brother-in-law of Purushotham Reddy, after searching his house. Srinivas Reddy was also wanted in the corruption case against the suspended HMDA Director case and surrendered before the ACB officials. He was presented before the court and remanded in judicial custody.
