Though city witnessed rains only in some parts, the sudden downpour led to water logging on many roads leading to obstructions of vehicular traffic movement.

M. Satya Kumar, Director, Met Department said the thundershowers were limited to only some parts of the city and the temperature was likely to remain in the same range for the next two-three days. “Though these are pre-monsoon showers, the temperature is unlikely to come down due to the continuing heat wave conditions in parts of Telangana,” he informed.
