Walk to promote blood donation

The Friends To Support organisation in association with Apollo Hospitals, ISBTI, and Roche will organise a walk on World Blood Donors’ Day (June 14, Saturday) to promote voluntary blood donation with a theme ‘Safe blood for saving mothers.’ The www.friends2support.org founder Sk.K. Shareef in a release said that the walk will start at the main gate of KBR Park opposite TDP office on Saturday at 7.30 a.m. with former Indian cricketer V.V.S. Lakshman flagging off the walk. The badminton coach Pullela Gopichand is likely to attend the valedictory.
