Summer workshop for children at RFC

A residential summer workshop, ‘Chamakte Sitare 2010' is being organised by Ramoji Film City for schoolchildren.

The camp, which begins on May 2 and culminates on May 8, will see students participating in music training where children will be given tips in vocals and genres of music like rock, pop, house, dream house. They will also participate in a live DJ workshop.

A dance camp will also be organised for the young ones where they will be taught rock dance and salsa.

Adventure sports

Adventure sports, camping, cover rappelling, flying fox, river crossing, commando net and trekking are also a part of the camp. The other sessions include acting, grooming, arts and crafts.

Competitions

Various competitions will also be held in music, dance and painting after the completion of camps. But this is not all, children participating in the ‘Chamakte Sitare' camp will also be involved in making a short film.

A grand event will be held to bring together children, teachers and parents which will mark the conclusion of the camp, said a release.

The children will be under personal supervision, including air-conditioned stay with caretakers, healthcare, sumptuous food and above all a secure environment.
