Road works: Court asks Warangal officials to avoid cutting college premises

A division Bench of the Hyderabad High Court comprising Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale and Justice P. Naveen Rao on Wednesday asked the authorities in Warangal district to find an alternative route to avoid a road being laid cutting across Kakatiya Government Degree College in Hanamkonda, Warangal district.

The bench was dealing with PIL filed by Dinakar complaining that the authorities are laying road cutting across the college remises. The Bench asked the Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) and Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) to search for an alternative like flyover.
