Padma awardees to be honoured tomorrow

Nehru Yuva Kendra Sanghatan and Federation of Telangana Youth Associations will felicitate eight Padmashri awardees from the two Telugu States at the People’s Plaza, Necklace Road, on February 17.

Perala Shekhar, national vice-chairman, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sanghatan, said that more than 5,000 students would attend the felicitation programme. This was to recognise their service and explain to the younger generation about their achievements.

Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya, Telangana Excise Minister T. Padma Rao, and BJP State president K. Lakshman would also attend the function.
