The Hyderabad meteorological department has forecasted rains or thundershowers in the next 24-hours even as intermittent showers continued to lash the capital. The meteorological department has recorded 5.7 millimetres of rainfall in twin cities in the last 24-hours.

Thanks to the showers, normal life came to a standstill in twin cities on Sunday. The intermittent showers also left many thoroughfares in a bad state. The maximum temperatures, according to MET authorities, have dropped considerably. The maximum temperature, for the next few days, will continue to hover around 25 degrees.
