Metro rail project will transform Hyderabad

“We are building a different metro rail system which nobody in the world is building and Hyderabad Metro Rail is not just a simple metro but an effort to transform Hyderabad into a people-friendly green city”, said Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) Managing Director N.V.S. Reddy.

Addressing officers and staff at the Republic Day function at Metro Rail Bhavan on Monday after unfurling the National Flag, he said that the upcoming project will transform Hyderabad into a global city and play a key the role in the betterment of the citizens' lives.

He explained the importance of metro rail to solve the traffic problems in the capital and also pointed out that “everybody is keenly watching the progress of Hyderabad Metro Rail project, which is the world’s largest mass transit project in Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode”.

He goaded the employees of HMR to display total commitment towards the project which will showcase the country’s technological excellence. Md. Ziauddin, CGM & Chief Engineer, HMR, Munna Kumar, Chief Engineer Railways, K. Lakshman, Chief Signal & Telecommunications Engineer, other senior engineers and officers of HMR participated in the celebrations.
