KCR to address employees today

TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao is expected to speak his mind on major policy matters concerning service issues when he addresses a meeting of Telangana based employees associations near Kompally here on Thursday

The Telangana non-gazetted officers association president G. Deviprasad Rao said the meeting will highlight how the guidelines framed by the State government for distribution of employees were not conducive to those from Telangana. The speakers will request Mr. Rao to adopt nativity as the basis for the distribution.

He also said 500 Class IV employees of Telangana were transferred to Andhra Pradesh which should be rectified. All posts in the Secretariat and offices of heads of departments should be held by staff from Telangana and the vacancies filled up by promotions.

Meanwhile, a war room to be headed by TRS legislators T. Harish Rao, K. Swamy Goud and V. Srinivas Goud will be set up at the party office to address employees grievances. A 30 member delegation of Telugu film industry led by producer-director Rama Naidu, Murali Mohan, K.S. Rama Rao, Ashok Kumar and Ali called on Mr. Rao at his residence. Actor Mohan Babu also met him separately.
