Hyd-Warangal industrial corridor to be developed

HYDERABAD: The Warangal-Hyderabad Corridor will be developed as an industrial cluster, IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao informed the Assembly adding that a request has been made to Government of India under the recently approved National Investment Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT).

He said the Government plans to develop three clusters in the corridor — Yadadri cluster, Jangaon cluster and Warangal cluster. Focus will be on IT/ITES, Medical hub, mineral based industries, dry port and transportation hub in the Yadadri cluster, Food processing units and leather based industries in Jangaon cluster, and Textile park, IT/ITES, educational hub and agro-based industries in the Warangal cluster.
