HC moved over medical fee

A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed in Hyderabad High Court seeking a direction for conducting fresh TEamcet -II for filling MBBS and BDS seats for 2016-17 academic year. Mohan Raj, advocate, filed the case. A division bench of the Hyderabad High Court comprising Justice Rama Subramanian and Justice A Shankar Narayana on Friday admitted a writ petition filed by Medical Students Parents Association questioning the difference between amount of fee being paid by different categories of students for MBBS course in Telangana. Students under “A” category are required to pay a fee of Rs 60,000 and “B” category students have to pay Rs 9 lakh.
