3M may set up lab in TS

The 3M company, formerly known as Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company, has assured Information Technology and Municipal Administration Minister K.T. Rama Rao that it would explore the possibility of setting up Indian version of Singapore-based Urban Solutions Laboratory in Telangana.

The assurance came from International Executive Director John Pournoor and other leaders of 3M, a $-30 billion US company, when Mr. Rao visited the corporate office of the company as part of his United States visit on Friday, a press release said here.
