‘Release water to NSP left bank canal’

The Telugu Desam Party has urged the government to release at least three tmcft of water from Nagarjunasagar Left Bank with immediate effect to save standing crop and mitigate the impending drinking water crisis in the district. In a letter addressed to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, TDP-TS president L. Ramana said the condition of farmers in Miryalaguda, Huzurnagar, Kodad and Nagarjunasagar constituencies in particular is pathetic.
