Five unidentified men allegedly robbed a 38-year-old woman of cash and valuables before strangulating her at her Mayur Vihar residence in Delhi on Thursday.

The victim, identified as Madhubala Gupta, lived with her jeweller husband Ajay, 14-year-old son Himanshu and nine-year-old daughter Himarshi in Mayur Vihar Phase-III. Ajay was not present at home at the time of the incident.

A senior police officer said Madhubala answered the main door when the robbers struck posing as courier boys.
