Two persons have been arrested in connection with the murder of a young man who was found dead in Sector 23A in March this year. Both the accused and the victim have criminal antecedents, the police said.

During a probe into the murder of Jhajjar-resident Vikrant, who was found dead in a vacant plot in Bajghera village on February 5, the police found that one of the accused in the case, Anshul, was in jail in Himachal Pradesh in connection with an attempt to murder case. The Gurugram police interrogated Anshul, 24, a resident of Bahadurgarh in Jhajjar.

During questioning, Anshul purportedly told the police that he was also involved in the murder of one Rahul, whose body was found in Sector 23A.

Anshul revealed that he along with his friends Deepak and Vikas Dalal had decided to kill Rahul due to personal enmity.

Police said the trio may be involved in over half-a-dozen cases of murder and attempt to murder in Haryana and Delhi. Anshul has been sent to Bhondsi jail while Deepak is in police remand for two days.
