Teenager held hostage, sodomised by 4 men in Nuh

FIR registered; no arrests yet in the November 2 incident

A teenager was allegedly held hostage and sodomised by a gang of four men in Nuh’s Mewali village on November 2.

The accused, two of them identified by the victim, allegedly took ₹10,000 ransom from his family to free him.

An FIR was registered on Friday in this connection.

The FIR stated that the victim, a truck conductor, was on his way to visit his cousin in Kotla village when four men overpowered him at Mewali village.

The four allegedly took him to a room on the outskirts of the village and two of them — Vakil and Tauffik — allegedly took turns to sodomise him.

Later, the other two also sodomised him at night. The accused tonsured him and also videorecorded the entire incident on a mobile phone.

Ransom sought

The accused called the teenager’s family the next morning seeking ₹50,000 ransom.

At this, the teenager’s father, brother and brother-in-law reached Mewali village carrying ₹10,000 and pleaded the accused to free him.

They offered to pay the remaining amount later. The accused then let him free.

Two days later, the teenager confided in his family about the sexual assault following which the matter was reported to the police.

Remaining amount

The victim’s family said the accused had been calling them on their mobile phones seeking the remaining amount, but the police had failed to make any arrests.

A case has been registered on charges of sodomy, causing hurt, wrongful confinement and criminal intimidation read with Section 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code at Nuh Police Station.
