Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has directed the Chief Secretary to ensure repair of all Public Works Department (PWD) roads by July 31.
In a note to Chief Secretary M. M. Kutty, the CM said that he and PWD Minister Satyendar Jain would conduct inspections once the department’s secretary certifies the completion work.
“Some of the PWD roads in Delhi are in pretty bad shape and need urgent repairs. The Delhi government has already provided adequate budget for the same. The Chief Secretary is directed to ensure repair of all PWD roads by July 31,” Mr. Kejriwal said in the note.

Directing the Chief Secretary to identify 850 sites for clinics, Mr. Kejriwal instructed Mr. Kutty to coordinate with land owning agencies and suggested that the sites should be identified by the end of the month. The Aam Aadmi Party government has promised to build 1,000 such clinics in the city.
“The Chief Secretary is directed to coordinate with all departments who own land. 850 pieces of land, equally distributed across Delhi, should be identified urgently to construct mohalla clinics. The Chief Secretary should identify these plots by June 30, 2017,” the Chief Minister said in the note.
Mr. Kejriwal said he was writing the note as the Health Department had stated that it was unable to procure land for the clinics.
