A day after one person was killed and four others injured during a clash between members of the Haridwar truck union and guards of Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev's Patanjali Food and Herbal Park in Haridwar, the situation took a political turn with many BJP leaders trying to interfere in the investigation, sources in the police said.
The police collected the CCTV footage as evidence.
However, the administration had already deleted some footage before the police investigation began, Haridwar Senior Superintendent of Police Sweety Agrawal said.

“Now the administration and other workers of the Patanjali Food and Herbal Park cannot enter the [Food Park] premises till the police gathers the evidence,” she added.
Ramdev's brother Ram Bharat, who has been charged with instigating the clash and was arrested on Wednesday, has been sent to 14 days judicial custody.
The incident occurred because of differences between the Patanjali Food and Herbal Park administration and the members of the local truck union.
