: The Delhi Government’s Public Works Department has launched a centralised complaint centre for registration of complaints against potholes and rough patches on the roads under its control.
Official sources said here that the launch of the complaint centre was aimed at bolstering PWD’s ongoing operation of repairing its roads in the Capital in a big way.
The operation was started on May 1 when the roads were surveyed, and the portions having potholes and rough patches were identified.

The PWD started repairing potholes and rough patches on roads, barring such portions where road cutting permissions were granted to various utility departments and their work was in progress, said the sources.
PWD Minister Satyendra Jain, who had set a three-week deadline for repairs on May 1, undertook a review of the work over the weekend and expressed satisfaction with the progress of work.
