The Delhi government on Wednesday tied up with Mercedes-Benz India to launch a one-year advanced diploma in Automotive Mechatronics (ADAM), which will be offered at G. B. Pant Institute of Technology.
The programme has been launched with an aim to provide youth with expertise in mechanical, electronics and informatics as well as other modern automotive technologies so that they will be able to seek employment after graduation.
Speaking at the signing of the MoU, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that the AAP government was making efforts to bring in the “best global companies to impart knowledge and provide hands-on experience to students so that they do not lag behind”.
