North body starts stress management clinic for staff

To mark the World Mental Health Day, the North Delhi Municipal Corporation launched a free “stress management clinic and counselling centre” at its headquarters on Thursday.

The facility will be available to employees and officers of the north body, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and Income Tax Department, commissioner Varsha Joshi said. Experienced psychiatrists would be available to counsel individuals according to their needs, she added.

Dal-ul-Murad, CEO of Murad Udyog, chief guest at the event, said that people had to be made aware of mental health because the consequences of stress are not understood.
