The decomposed body of a Delhi Police constable who had gone missing four days ago was on Saturday found in a forest area near R. R. Hospital at Dhaula Kuan.
According to the police, 48-year-old Suresh Singh, who was posted as a constable at Anand Parbat police station in Central Delhi, was last seen on February 19 when he was sent to President’s House to serve a summon. On that evening, at 4-06 p.m. a head constable at the Anand Parbat police station received a call from Singh. That was the last anybody heard from him.
When Singh did not return to the police station, his senior officers tried to contact him but found that his cell phone was switched off. Later, with the help of technical surveillance it was found that the last call from Singh to his colleague was made from somewhere in Dhaula Kuan following which a search operation was initiated, said a police officer.

Around 10 a.m. on Saturday, a police team found his body lying in a forest behind R. R. Hospital in Dhaula Kuan.
Police said prima-facie it appeared that Singh had been poisoned but added that the post-mortem would reveal the exact cause of his death. No injury marks were found on the body which had got badly decomposed. The police have registered a case and said all angles, including suicide and murder, were being probed.
Singh, who hailed from Haryana, is survived by his wife and two children.
