Maruti suspends operations

Maruti Suzuki India Limited said on Thursday that it had decided to suspend production at its main plant at Gurgaon for two days owing to the non-availability of components for its cars.

Besides, workers of the MSIL plant at Manesar, Suzuki Powetrain India and Suzuki Motocycle India have gone a simultaneous strike since Tuesday.

“Maruti Suzuki has decided to suspend production at the Gurgaon plant on October 14 and October 15. This is in view of the non-availability of components for cars,” an MSIL statement said.
