DDA lays track for bicycle sharing system

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is ensuring that the much touted public cycle sharing system that has been planned for Dwarka is sustainable and user-friendly.

The DDA and Centre for Green Mobility organised a round table consultation on Friday wherein operators from across India were invited with suggestions. DDA Vice-Chairman Balvinder Kumar discussed operational models and business models of the Public Bicycle Sharing Scheme with the participants.

DDA is said to have allocated share for the project in its budget and has granted in-principle approval.
