CM maintains silence on Chief Secretary row

For the third day, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday maintained silence publicly after Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash on Tuesday accused Aam Aadmi Party MLAs of assaulting him at the CM’s residence on Monday night.

Mr. Kejriwal, who returned from a trip to Tamil Nadu on Thursday afternoon, has not issued any public statements or posted on social media about the alleged incident. Two AAP MLAs, Prakash Jarwal and Amanatullah Khan, were arrested on Wednesday in connection with the case.

Mr. Kejriwal, who is an active Twitter user with 13.4 million followers, had not tweeted anything since February 17 as of 8.30 p.m. on Thursday.

He had, however, retweeted journalists and AAP leaders’ tweets.
