Heavy rain continued to lash the Capital with the Meteorological Department recording a total of 10.8 mm of rainfall between 8-30 a.m. and 8-30 p.m. on Sunday.

Though severe water-logging was reported from across the Capital, its impact on traffic flow was limited because of fewer vehicles on the road as it was a holiday.

According to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, the central control room received 77 water-logging complaints, seven of trees falling and 10 of building part collapsing from various parts of the city. The worst affected were the City and Civil Lines zones which received 18 and 16 water-logging complaints respectively.
