“Different arts and sports competitions were organised for the participants during the event. The competitions included wheel chair race, slogan writing, musical chairs, fruit eating and dress wearing. The aim of Chetanalaya to organise this meet was to tell the society that these underprivileged persons are no different,” said director of the organisation Father Susai Sebastian.

“Rehabilitation of the people with disability is one of the major areas of the organisation’s work and it is supporting almost 4,000 people with different types of disabilities in Delhi and in eight districts of Haryana,” he said.
