Two NSG men killed in accident

Two National Security Guards (NSG) men were killed in an accident in Manesar here on Sunday.

According to the police, the duo were riding a motorcycle when a container truck hit the two-wheeler from behind at Industrial Model Township Chowk around 3 p.m. The two fell on the road and suffered serious injuries.

Driver flees spot

The traffic police present at the intersection took them to the Civil Hospital, where the duo was declared brought dead. They were later identified as Vinod Ashok Gaikwar and Sudarsan Naik.

The erring truck driver fled the spot leaving the vehicle behind. The vehicle has been impounded and efforts are on to arrest the accused. The NSG officers were informed about the accident and the bodies have been sent to a mortuary, the police said.
