A Delhi Police Crime Branch team will record the statements of all those connected to a series of incidents at F Bar in The Ashok hotel and LAP lounge bar in the adjoining Samrat Hotel here in the early hours of November 7 that eventually led to a controversy over grant of parole to Manu Sharma, serving life term in the Jessica Lall murder case.

The team will also record the statement of Delhi Police Commissioner Y. S. Dadwal’s son Pranay, who was present at F Bar along with a woman friend when the fracas took place. According to the police, Manu Sharma, Sahil Dhingra, owner of an apparel brand, and his bodyguards misbehaved with some visitors, including Pranay.

Based on the preliminary findings, the Crime Branch will also question the staff of both bars and go through closed-circuit television camera footage to establish the chain of events.
