Overnight rains brought down the temperature in the national capital to a comfortable level on Tuesday.

The minimum temperature declined from yesterday’s 29.4 degree Celsius to 25.4 degree Celsius. On Monday, the maximum temperature was 37.8 degree Celsius.

The rains which continued till morning led to water logging in some parts of east Delhi.

The city has recorded 14.4 mm overnight rains, the weatherman said. For the next 24 hours, the Met officials have predicted further decline in the temperature as rains are likely to continue to lash the city.

They have forecast a generally cloudy sky with a few spell of thunder showers in various parts of the city with minimum and maximum temperature hovering between 27 and 33 degree Celsius tomorrow.
