A chilly morning with a mist cover greeted Delhiites on Monday even as the mercury rose marginally to settle at 5.7 degree Celsius.

The minimum yesterday was 5.5 degree Celsius.

Northwesterly winds blowing over north India and snowfall in higher reaches of Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh have resulted in cold conditions in the national capital, Met officials said.
