Event convened for Kejriwal govt to be bestowed with “good sense”

The Delhi BJP president, Satish Upadhyay, convened an assembly of his party’s office-bearers and members at the Rajghat Samadhi Sthal of Mahatma Gandhi on Saturday to pray that the Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi govt be bestowed with “good sense”.

The delegation, which included MP Ramesh Bidhuri, Leader of the BJP Legislature Party Vijender Gupta and the party’s media in-charge Praveen Shankar Kapoor, among others, said the assembly sang “Raghupati Raghav” followed by demands for action against those guilty of the Dehi Jal Board water tanker scam and alleged widespread corruption in the Delhi Government.

“Before coming to power, Chief Minister Kejriwal had emotionally misused the Samadhi Sthal of Mahatma Gandhi and misled the people. At that time he used to show that his Government will establish Swaraj in Delhi and make the administration corruption free,” Mr. Upadhyay later told the press.

“But today, the terror of the corrupt MLAs and officers is seen everywhere and corruption under the Delhi Government, which started with the recruitment scam, is now seen in all the departments of the Delhi Government the latest example being the Premium App Bus Service,” he said.
