4 labourers killed in water tank collapse

Four labourers were killed at a construction site in Sector 90 here on Tuesday after a water tank collapsed on them.

According to the police, the four victims and a few others were having bath and washing clothes late at night when the water tank collapsed. The incident took place at a ready mix plant in Kakrola village.

While three of the labourers died on the spot, one succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital. One critically injured person was admitted to a private hospital.

A case has been has been registered against the contractor for causing death due to negligence at Kherki Dhaula police station.
