A 21-year-old man was stabbed to death in Ranhola allegedly by a group of locals when he refused to give them money to buy liquor.

Two persons were killed during altercations over trivial issues in the Capital in the last 24 hours.

The first incident took place in West Delhi’s Ranhola on Friday afternoon, where a 21-year-old was stabbed to death.

“Mohit, Rahul and Shiv had stepped out to celebrate Holi and were waylaid by Rakesh, Vicky and Pawan, who asked them to shell out money for liquor. When Mohit and his friends refused, an altercation broke out. In the ensuing melee, Vicky stabbed Mohit in the abdomen,” said a senior police officer.
