Two trains re-routed through Coimbatore

Following representations from the Coimbatore Railway Struggle Committee and various trade and industry bodies in Coimbatore, the Southern Railway has re-routed two trains through the Coimbatore Junction.

According to sources, the Chennai Central –Thiruvananthapuram – Chennai Central Mail will stop at the Coimbatore Junction from July 1. The Yesvantpur – Kannur – Yesvantpur Express will also stop in Coimbatore from July 9.

This train will not stop in Podanur from July 10.
