Cadre of Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhgam (TPDK) staged a protest near the Indian Navy establishment, INS Agrani, at Redfields here opposing the Centre’s reported move to provide two warships to Sri Lankan Government. They condemned the attitude of the Centre and said that the decision only reflected its continued anti-Tamil approach.

Various outfits had already staged a series of agitations and protests condemning any move to provide military or logistical assistance to the Island nation accusing it of having indulged in “genocide” of Tamil race in the name of war against terrorism.
