Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board conducts exam

Tests conducted in six districts including Erode and Nilgiris

Aspirants for Grade Two police constable job, fire men and jail wardens appeared for the examination the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board conducted at 11 locations in West Zone on Sunday.

In Coimbatore, 474 of the 5,459 candidates absented from the examination, which started at 10 a.m. and ended at 11.20 a.m. In the West Zone the Board conducted the examination at three centres in Erode, four in Dharmapuri and one each in the Nilgiris, Tirupur, Namakkal and Krishnagiri.

On Friday the city police stored in strong room the question papers they received. On Sunday, in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Hema Karunagaran the police opened the room, took out the question papers and sent them to the examination centre in the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex.

The police had formed a three-tier security for the safe conduct of the examination.
