The Anaimalai Police are probing into the suspicious death of K. Vigneswaran (32), of Vettaikaranpudur near Anaimalai. The police said that his sister K. Vijayalakshmi (39) – who is living with him – grew suspicious after she saw blood stains in the house on Thursday evening. His body was found in a nearby well with stabs on his neck and body. While the relatives claimed that he was murdered, the police have booked a case under section 174 (unnatural death) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
