Over 38,000 appear for TNPSC examinations

More than 38,000 candidates took part in the Group IV and Group VIII examinations the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission conducted on Saturday.

Centres

According to sources, the candidates took their examinations from 129 centres in the district.

Video camera

The Commission had ordered placing of video camera at an examination centre in Pollachi as the number of candidates there was around 1,000.

The sources said that the Commission had distributed hall tickets to 41,100 persons in the district.

Visited

District Collector M. Karunagaran visited the centres at Nirmala College for Women and Carmel Garden Higher Secondary School.

The district administration had made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the examinations.
